Corn flour1/2 Cup
Low fat milk2 Cup
Soya sauce1 table spoon
Garam masala1/4 tea spoon
Sweet corn kernels (drained)150 gm
Diced Chicken1/2 cup
Whole wheat bread croutons2 table spoon
SaltDesired amount
Black Pepper to tasteDesired amount

Method

  • Put oil in a medium-sized glass bowl and microwave on MEDIUM power for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now add water, garam masala and salt and microwave on HIGH power for 3 minutes.
  • To this add chicken pieces and cook on MEDIUM power for 2-3 minutes.
  • Cove it and stand for 4-5 minutes.
  • Strain the chicken stock and keep shredded chicken pieces for the soup.
  • Now mix chicken stock, milk & sweet corn in a casserole. Microwave for 3 minutes on HIGH power.
  • Finally add soya sauce, shredded chicken and corn flour (mixed into cold water) to it and microwave on MEDIUM power for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with whole wheat croutons.

Method:

  • Place oil in casserole and heat on HIGH power for 40 seconds. Add ginger, garlic, chilli, fenugreek seeds and turmeric powder and cook on High power for 2 minutes.
  • Add potatoes (diced) and 1/4 cup water a dish. Cover it.
  • Cook on HIGH power for 6-8 minutes.Stir in between.
  • Add dried fenugreek leaves, chat masala and dum aloo masala. Now cook on MEDIUM power for 5-7 minutes till the potatoes are cooked.
  • Add salt to taste and sprinkle with fresh chopped coriander before saving.

Method


  • Wash and soak rice for half an hour. Then boil rice in a casserole with salt and 1 tbsp oil on HIGH for 5-6 minutes. The rice should be removed when slightly undercooked.
  • Now take the casserole and heat oil on HIGH for 50 Seconds.
  • Add sliced onions,cumin seeds,salt,turmeric powder,pepper corns and tomato puree,ginger-garlic paste and microwave covered on HIGH for 2-4 minutes.
  • Add chicken and cook covered on HIGH for 2- minutes.
  • Now add boiled undercooked rice and MICROWAVE for another 2-4 minutes at MEDIUM.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and stand it for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with fried nuts and saffron.

Moong Dal (green)200 gm
Sodium bi-carbonate1/2 Tea spoon

Method:

  • Soak  the moong dal overnight.
  • Grind it into a thin paste and add curd. Keep the mixture overnight for fermentation.
  • Grease the dish for dhokla. Now add soda bi-carbonate salt, and beat till the mixture is smooth.
  • Spread the batter on the greased dish and microwave on HIGH power for 4-5 minutes. Upon, cooling cut the dhokla into small even pieces.

For Tempering:

  • Put Oil in the dish and heat for 1 minute on HIGH power. Add mustard seeds, mango powder and green chillies and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH power.
  • Finally add the already cut pieces of pieces of dhokla to the oil.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve with pudina chutney.

  • In a casserole, take 1/4 tbsp oil and roast crumbled bread pieces on HIGH power for 3-4 minutes. Till they turn pink in colour, keep on stirring.
  • Take another bowl and pour 1/4 tbsp oil and heat on HIGH power for 50 seconds.
  • To this add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and microwave on HIGH power for 1 minute.
  • Now add onion, peas, chillies and tomatoes and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes.
  • Lastly add water, roasted crumbled bread, almonds, salt, pepper.Cook on HIGH power for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.Serve with pudina chutney.
